We have over 400 items you can choose from, including a wide variety of decorative and functional ceramic pottery. One low price includes the paint, tools and supplies you’ll need to create anything your imagination can dream up!

After you’re done painting, we’ll dip it in a clear glaze and fire it in our kilns to preserve your artwork forever! Your pottery will also be food and dishwasher safe!

Paint

Paint your ceramic with any colors, designs, and imagery you want! We supply all the paint, brushes, and other supplies you will need to create your masterpiece!

Fire

After you’re done painting your ceramic, we will dip it in a clear glaze and fire it in our kilns, which will preserve your artwork and make your ceramic food and dishwasher safe!

What is your class schedule?

We don’t have classes. You work individually and at your own pace. We will show you everything you need to know to begin your project.

Do I need a reservation?

You can make a reservation for any time. We do take walk-ins when we have open tables. We highly recommend a reservation for weekday evenings, all day Saturday, school holidays and summer break when we tend to fill up. Call 321.729.0222 to make a table reservation. We can not take reservations by e-mail, message or voice mail.

How much does it cost?

Most of our pottery is priced at $25 or less. That price includes everything, including painting and firing. We do have some items that are priced higher.

How long does it take to complete a project?

Most projects will take about 2 hours to complete. We might limit your reservation to 2.5 hours if the studio is full. But you can always take unfinished items home and come back later to finish at no extra charge. We also offer take-home kits so you can finish your piece at home and drop off at the studio when you’re done.

When can we pick up the pottery after it is fired?

When you finish painting we are going to dip the pottery in a clear glaze and fire it. That process takes about 4-5 days. We will tell you when your pottery is expected to be ready so you will know when to come back and get it.

Can young children do this?

Yes, it’s great for all ages. We often have had newborn babies in the studio getting their foot prints put on a commemorative plate or mug. Our only requirement for young children is that they be accompanied by someone who will be responsible for them.

Is the glaze safe? Is the pottery food safe?

Yes, all of our glazes are non-toxic. Fired pottery can be used with food and are dishwasher safe. We do not recommend using the pottery in microwave ovens.

Will the glazes stain my clothing?

The glazes are water soluble and are easily removed from clothing by normal washing. We cannot be certain about every type of clothing and so we recommend not wearing expensive or hard to wash clothing. We have a limited number of aprons for small children if you would like to use them.

Can we bring food while we paint?

Yes, many people bring drinks or light snacks with them to eat while they paint. There is a coffee shop next door and several restaurants nearby. We recommend that you not eat greasy or messy food while you are painting because grease can cause problems with the glazes during firing. NOTE: Food is not allowed with the children’s painting parties without advanced arrangement.

Where are you located?

We are at 536 East New Haven Avenue in downtown Melbourne. We are near the intersection of Hallwood and McQuaid with New Haven. We are 1 block west of the Post Office and next door to the Sun Shoppe Cafe.

What are your hours?

We are open Tuesday-Friday from 12 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. We are closed on Sunday and Monday, however, the studio can be reserved for private parties/events on Sundays. The latest time you can be seated to start painting is 7:30. In some cases, we may close earlier than 9 pm if no one is in the studio painting past the 8pm cutoff time.
